We are each making decisions every second that we are awake and moving throughout the Capital Region and we’re allowed to make mistakes, we are human after all. But, when you’re behind the wheel of anything you need to take it seriously.
I first saw this video over the weekend and even shared it on my personal Facebook page. It really was horrific to watch as these cars and trucks drove through a blinding snowdrift just to find that there was no way to avoid the accident and no time to stop.
(Warning- this is not for kids) --I'm not sure if you ever heard this song before. Personally, I haven't until now. It's pretty warped and dark humor (again, fair warning for the children out there), but would love your opinion as to how effective you think it would be as a tool to prevent accidents.

State troopers are considered "the enemy" by much of the public when traveling on the Thruway. This story alone should make you think twice about the respect we should show these folks!

Distracted walking. We have all done it. Reading texts while walking, talking on the phone while trying to cross the street. Hey, we are not driving a car, so it can’t be dangerous! Right?
There is no joy in having to pay a large bar tab, especially when there seems to be a discrepancy with the bill. However, it is well advised to just pay it – because there is even less joy in having to be removed from a fence after you impale yourself while attempting to pull the old “drink and dash” routine.
