Star Is Born: VanDenburg Slays “Shallow” In First Song

As the three-hour American Idol finale gets underway, things are shaping up nicely for our local hopeful Madison VanDenburg.  Her first performance of the night showed her crazy good vocal range and outstanding control while performing Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's beloved smash "Shallow" from the movie A Star Is Born. Did round one go to our hometown favorite?

Voting opened at 8 p.m. and closes during the last commercial break, but one of the Top 3 contestants will be eliminated during the show, so vote early. You are able to vote 10 times, three different ways for a total of 30 times.
