This video, posted by nyup.com, really shows how breathtaking Upstate New York can be. Taken as the foliage was just starting to turn, you can see the striking colors around Lake Placid Whiteface Mountain, Panther Mountain, Tupper Lake and Saranac Lake. You need to see if for yourself!

Absolutely stunning right? I bet if we took this footage today there would be a coat of snow all over the foliage. But that is the beauty of where we live. The weather may not always be fun, but scenes like this or a freshly fallen snow make it all worthwhile.
