Six Flags New England Extends Holiday Light Show

If you miss the holidays already, or just need a little family diversion from the "real world" for a few hours, Six Flags New England has extended their Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience.  For the next few weeks, beginning on Thursday January7th, you'll be able to road-trip a bit with the family and take the carload through their dazzling light display from the safety on your vehicle.

According to CBSN, Six Flags New England (located about 90 miles southeast of Albany in Agawam, MA) will be extending their socially distanced Drive-Thru Holiday in the Park through a portion of January.

The light display which boasts a "million dazzling lights, seasonal music favorites and festive entertainment!" is running now through January 10th and then again from  January 13th-18th.

Admission price, not done by the actual carload,  is $9.99 per adult $4.99 for children under 48 inches tall, and they are only taking advance reservations.

So while many of us are dreading taking down the tree and all of the festive decorations that make us feel so cheery and bright, things are ramping up about an hour and a half outside of Albany.  Might be a fun little day trip...
