Singer Jewel In Car Accident

Singer Jewel, who is expecting a baby, was in a car with her husband, world champion rodeo star Ty Murray, were in a two car accident.

TMZ reported that on Friday, their car was struck on the passenger side by the fire truck. After being taken to the hospital and taking several tests, there is good news: mom and baby are doing just fine. Her husband told People Magazine that "I have to admit, I was doing a little dance on our way out of the doctor's 
office when we found out!" By the way, this is the first child for the singer. Just in case you’re wondering they are having a boy.

Some places we have heard or seen Jewel: In 2007, she co-hosted Nashville Star, and then in 2008, she was a judge on Nashville Star, Season 6 and in 2009 on Dancing With The Stars. Along with several pop hits, she hit the country music world. In 2008, she was on The Paisley Party Tour along with Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough. She was nominated for Female Artist of the Year at The ACA Awards, and Female Country Vocal for her album “Satisfied” in 2010. This included her single “Stronger Woman”.
