Several Homes Burglarized In Rotterdam

People that live in the Rotterdam area may want to be a little more vigilant.

Recently, about a dozen homes in Rotterdam and a couple in Princetown, have broken into and burglarized. All of the burglaries happened during the day when people aren’t there.

Rotterdam Police believe that after the homes are staked out. Then, the suspects will go and ring the door bell, knock on the door and sometimes use a phone to see if there’s anyone in the house. After they find out that no one’s at home, they’ll break in, a lot of times either breaking a door or window.

According to the story from New 10 ABC, the suspects usually go to the master bedrooms and steal jewelry, then take some smaller stuff, like electronics when they’re leaving.
