Schenectady Grocery Store Closes New & Much Needed One Opens in Rotterdam
Schenectady will be closing one of its grocery stores today, Wednesday, September 14th to make way for another one in Rotterdam that will open tomorrow, Thursday, September 15th. It has been a long time coming and residents are excited.

Crews have been working hard to get the new ALDI Grocery Store finished. It is finally ready.
A Grand Opening Celebration is Planned
The new ALDI will open at the Five Corners in Rotterdam on Thursday at 9 am. There will be a ribbon cutting at 8:30 am and the first one hundred customers will get gift bags featuring samples of ALDI products. There will be a sweepstakes that customers can enter for a chance to win a five hundred dollar ALDI gift card.

We are always looking out for the needs of our shoppers and decided to move our Schenectady store to allow more room for added fresh, high-quality products at affordable prices, which our loyal shoppers know and love.
There was an overwhelming demand for a grocery store that was closer to residents in that Five Corners section of Rotterdam.
There is another ALDI at 303 Saratoga Road in Glenville.
