It's the end of another school year, and the conclusion of the 15th year of the Readin', Writin, and Rhymin' School Program.  (Just kidding.  We never close, not even for summer vacation!)

This program, which gives elementary kids an opportunity to take part in the songwriting and recording process is continuing throughout the summer.  The reason we mention this is that there are a couple of openings left.  If you are a camp counselor working in an actual camp setting, or a teacher who  has a summer program in a conventional classroom, please put your name, age, and size of the group in the comment line below, or email Richie at richie@wgna.com and he will be in contact with you.  The class lasts a little more than an hour, and the song that they come up with will be played on the Sean and Richie Show the next morning!

Here's an example from a couple of years back.  This was at Woodhaven Camp in Galway.   Richie and the kids rewrote their camp theme song

So clean off one of the picnic tables and Richie will plop his keyboard on there and help you create your next theme for YOUR camp!    Special thanks to Hannaford Supermarkets, by the way, for making it possible to come to you with this program!  Have a great summer and don't forget to bring the bug spray!
