Clifton Park Will Have Full Day Summer Camp
We are slowly edging back to a bit of normalcy and there is no better proof than the announcement of summer camps reopening. Clifton Park declared that full-day camp and half-day camp will be back for the summer of 2021. There will be safety protocols in place for both staff and campers.
When I was a kid we would always go to day camp at Camp Is-Sho-Da in East Greenbush. I remember how excited my sisters and I would get when we boarded the bus to take us there. We made a ton of friends and have fond memories of going to day camp. We did some cool crafts like making bird feeders out of milk cartons and macaroni. We also had a lot of fun playing camp games and making s'mores. It's nice to know that Clifton Park is going to give kids their own memories while going to summer camp.
There will be protocols in place along with safety procedures. All campers and staff will be screened each day when they arrive. There will be hand sanitizer available throughout the camp day. Camp counselors are required to always wear a mask. Masks must also be worn by campers when they are near each other and also when arriving and leaving.
