If you look at the sky after dark, tonight (Jan. 9), you might see something that we hardly ever see.

You could possibly see an array of color if you look to the north with the  Northern Lights.

In the article from News 10 ABC, there was some sort of an explosion on the sun. This happened on Tuesday. There are always explosions on the sun, but because of certain conditions being right, we may be getting a light show. There may also be some disruptions with GPS and satellites.

I saw the Northern Lights once, a long time ago when I was a child. I have to admit, it was a little eerie and cool at the same time. It’s also mentioned in the story that the best time to see this is around midnight. If you’re still awake hopefully you can get some pictures and post them on our Facebook page.
