Make sure you look to the night sky this weekend. A rare spectacular comet will be visible and extremely bright. This Devil Comet only comes around once every seventy years!
The Lyrid meteor show is happening right now throughout the night sky. It is a spectacular display in the sky and is best visible a certain night this week.
A solar eclipse is coming to the Capital Region and since this doesn't happen very often, you want to be at the right place at the right time to see it and thanks to NASA, they've mapped it out so you can!
I have been getting excited for this for a couple of weeks now so you may have to forgive me if I am rushing things by taking pictures already. Tonight and Tomorrow we will be witnessing the moon at it's closest to the Earth while being full since 1948, the next time we will witness anything close to this will be 18 years from now...
Of course most everyone knows that "shooting stars" are really just meteors flying across the night sky but we also know that seeing one is rare. Not tonight. Tonight will be one of the best chances to see what is being called the best Perseids shower in a very long time. In fact there will be nearly double the amount as in a usual shower. There should be about 200 meteors per hour!

You heard right! For YEARS we have read the horoscopes faithfully each morning on the Sean and Richie Show (we do them at 6:50am if you're counting). We call them horriblescopes!
