No Driver’s Licenses Needed In Georgia

Say Whaaatt?  

There are many folks out there with an “ax to grind”. Many many people these days seem to take their political views to the next level.  Honestly, I give most people credit.  It’s good to see people with a fire in their belly for some cause that they believe in.  Here’s a good example

Take Georgia State Republican Bobby Franklin

  Good old Bobby is bugged about driver’s licenses. 

According to Newser.com

Bobby is sponsoring the “Right to Travel Act,” a bill that says everyone has the “constitutional right to travel on the roads and highways”—and that, therefore, requiring drivers to be licensed infringes on that right.

Hmmmmmmm.  Interesting  take on that subject.  Never thought of it that way, to be honest.  Don’t know if I agree or not (I’m writing this at 6:30am—it’s too early to think!) 

But Bobby’s not done yet.  Check out what else bugs him:

According to Talking Points Memo, Bobby wants to sponsor:

 A bill that would ban forced vaccinations,

 A bill to do away with Georgia’s income tax,

 A bill to eliminate all property taxes

 and… get this…. A  bill guaranteeing everyone’s right to potentially harm another person
