Niskayuna Is Getting A New Hardware Store

Not a fan of the big box stores? Niskayuna is getting a new local option for all of your hardware needs.

According to a story from CBS 6, Hatchet Hardware is getting ready to open a new location sometime in December in Niskayuna in the old Morgan Stanley location on Balltown Road. Hatchet currently operates 4 other hardware stores in the Capital Region in Brunswick, Troy, Waterford and Palatine Bridge. A Hatchet representative told CBS 6 they are currently hiring employees for the new store, as well as their other stores.

The great thing about a store like Hatchet is you can get everything you need for your home, with what I assume will be more personalized, one-on-one customer service. And those who shop will be supporting a locally, run mini-chain.
