New York Yankee Great Mariano Rivera Coming to Saratoga

I'll admit, I don't follow the Yankees very closely but they are my team. I do have a favorite player of all time and he's coming to Saratoga this summer.

The Saratogian announced earlier today that Mariano Rivera will be headed to the Saratoga Race Course this summer, before being inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) is hosting Rivera on Friday, July 12th as part of the opening festivities for the 2019 meet. NYRA will honor Rivera in the winner's circle for being the all-time Major League Baseball saves leader.

There's a chance to meet Rivera during a luncheon at the Paddock from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Tickets are $250 and reserved to the first 150 fans. It includes a photo opportunity with Rivera, an opportunity to bid on some exclusive Rivera items, Q&A session, buffet lunch and more and can be purchased through the NYRA website or the box office.
