New York State has added another free fishing day this weekend! If you love to fish or want to try it for the first time, you will get another chance this weekend with a free fishing day. That means you can enjoy freshwater fishing without needing a license.

This awesome event is part of the Free Fishing Days program, which started back in 1991. The idea is to give everyone a taste of fishing without any cost, hopefully sparking a new hobby and encouraging everyone to support conservation efforts by purchasing a fishing license down the road.
