Albany International Airport announced that another airline is now offering non-stop flights to Denver and Orlando. Another plus is that the airfare is super cheap. According to the Times Union, Frontier Airlines announced that they will be offering non-stop flights to Denver and Orlando starting this fall. There will be limited service only a few days a week to each destination. If the Albany market responds to the new routes, Frontier hopes they can add more flights.

The Denver flights will be offered twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Orlando flights will be offered three times a week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Denver service will begin in September and Orlando service starts in October. Fares will start at just $44 one way and you can start booking now at flyfrontier.com.

The other advantage for passengers is that Frontier will compete with both Southwest and JetBlue on the Orlando route, and with Southwest on the Denver route. This will help create demand and keep prices lower.
