There is another chicken recall. This time it involves nearly two hundred thousand pounds of pre-cooked chicken.  The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is recalling one hundred ninety thousand pounds of Tyson chicken. According to News 10 ABC, Tyson Foods, Inc wants food service locations to check their freezers for ready to eat chicken fritter products.

These chicken products could be contaminated with materials like hard plastic. The frozen chicken was produced on February 28th. The packages contained 8.2 pound bags of "Fully Cooked, Whole Grain Golden Crispy Chicken Chunk Fritters". The case code is 0599NHL02.

These chicken products were not shipped to retail locations but were shipped to food service locations and some schools across the country. These were not shipped to be sold at grocery stores. There have been no reports of illness or injuries related to this product but if you would like more information on the recall click HERE.
