Nascar Fines Denny Hamlin For Speaking His Mind

Denny Hamlin is one of the best drivers in the Nascar Sprint Cup Series. Denny knows when a car is good, and Denny know when it is not. Apparently Nascar doesn't appreciate his honesty. In an interview Denny Hamlin basically said that the new Generation 6 car that Nascar is using this year is not as good as the Generation 5 car they were using. He was upset over the car's inability to pass during the race at Phoenix. I think this is pretty lame on Nascar's part. People should be able to speak as long as they aren't being idiots and be honest about the equipment the are using. The fine was for $25,000 and Hamlin basically has said 'good luck collecting it' to Nascar. Good for you Denny.
