A scratch-off from the New York Lottery sold at a local Stewarts Shop and paid off for one area resident in a big way.  The scratch-off ticket called "Make My Month" hit for a cool million bucks recently and while the resident has yet to be announced, things are about to change for one lucky Capital Region native on Wednesday.

According to the Times Union, Yolanda Vega from the New York State Lottery will present the check to the unidentified winner on Wednesday afternoon.  It is reported by the Times Union  that the man purchased the $5 dollar ticket at the Stewart's Shop in Gloversville located at 1594 Route 29A.

The Make My Month grand prize of a million dollars will be paid out in $8,333 monthly installments for 10 years.

Back in January, a scratch-off called "Make My Year" was sold at the Cumberland Farms in Glens Falls.  It was a 2.5 million dollar hit for one lucky Capital Region native.
