An investigation conducted by multiple counties and multiple police agencies has landed a man from Middleburgh in jail.

Sixty-four-year-old Eugene Falco was allegedly involved in multiple burglaries.

In the story from News 10 ABC, as a result of a search warrant for Falco’s home, several items were discovered that led to his arrest. That included a wood splitter, which was reported stolen to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Department.

Several weapons were found that he wasn’t allowed to possess because of an earlier conviction. Some of the weapons were bought by Falco from some funds that he received as a result of the burglaries.

Falco has been charged with Criminal Possession Of Stolen Property In The Fourth Degree, Criminal Possession Of A Weapon In The Fourth Degree and other charges. He was sent to jail on $50,000 bail.
