Man Visiting Capitol Was Allegedly Carrying Pot
A lot of people visit the New York State Capitol in Albany all the time.

I went there a few times when I was younger, on school field trips. People bring their cameras with them, maybe a pen or pencil and paper, and a cell phone. But there may be something that’s probably not a good idea to bring into the state Capitol. That would be marijuana.
A 41-year-old Schenectady that made a stop at the New York State Capitol on Monday and got into a little trouble. He allegedly was carrying bag of marijuana and a glass smoking pipe with marijuana in it. The police were called after a security screener saw the pipe. According to the story from WNYT, Roger Rugg, Jr. has a court date on April 7. There’s no word if he was given a fine or any other consequences.
