
Man Found Dead on Plane that Took Off from Albany Airport
According to sources, a man aboard a plane out of Albany International Airport passed away mid-flight and was sadly pronounced dead by the time the plane touched down in Florida.
Man Dies on Flight from Albany to Florida
Sources say that on Sunday, an Allegiant flight from Albany, NY, landed in Punta Gorda, Florida, late Sunday evening with a deceased passenger.
According to Gulf Coast News, the incident occurred after his flight departed from Albany, New York (ALB) and landed at Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) at 11:56 p.m., but reports didn't specify what may have happened to him.
Sources indicate that he was fine before the plane departed on the 3-hour trip from the northeast to Punta Gorda, which is about 100 miles south of Tampa.

Happy and Talkative Before the Flight Took Off
The passenger, according to reports, the man "was happy and talkative before he went to sleep and never woke up."

One report says that local EMS and law enforcement personnel met the plane after it landed, and deboarding was delayed by 30 minutes. CCSO is conducting an investigation. The deceased's name has not been released.
Passengers said they thought the victim was sleeping, but they never woke up.
According to the Gulf Coast News Now, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said that the death does not appear to be suspicious.
Allegiant Airlines is considered a low-cost airline in the United States with headquarters in Las Vegas that focuses on connecting travelers from smaller, often underserved, cities to popular vacation destinations.
