The holiday cookie baking season is around the corner and if you are like us and use the ready-made cookie dough, you may want to check your refrigerator. There is a recall. According to CNN, there is a voluntary recall for Nestle cookie dough products. The recall comes after customers reported finding bits of food-grade rubber pieces in some of their products. Nestle says that they have since fixed the problem and identified it. But just to be safe, have issued a voluntary recall.

This recall is for the ready-to-bake refrigerated products and dough with the batch codes that begin with 9189 through 9295. These codes are those that follow the "use or freeze-by" date. They will come before 5753. There have been no injuries or illnesses reported.

If you have one of these products, you are to throw it away but keep your proof of purchase and contact Nestle Customer Service. To see a complete list of those products affected, click HERE.
