LOOK! Did Jesus Appear at Capital Region Church Over Easter?
Easter is the time Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. One church in particular may have had a divine visit, or at least a sign from above.
When Father Stepanos Doudoukjian walked in to the St. Peter Armenian Church in Watervliet prior to Easter services on Sunday morning, he saw what he believes to be an apparition of the almighty himself.
The formation formed perfectly on the floor leading into the church's main entrance.
So what caused it? It's not entirely clear, but Fr. Doudoukjian says it appeared right before services at 8:30am and last until about 11:30am, after which it faded.
In his Facebook post, Fr. Doudoukjian couldn't hold back his astonishment.
He is Risen...Walking into Church this morning this miracle took place! Frenchie and I couldn't believe our eyes... WOW. Amen! Praise the Lord!Krisdos Haryav ee Merelotz/Christ is Risen from the Dead!Join us for this miraculous day!!
Many of the parishioners stopped to bless themselves on the way in, the church even burned incense over the area to mark the holy event. Father Doudoukjian says it is a welcome spiritual gift on such a special day.
It was an Easter miracle and an apparition of the Lord. Many of our faithful were awestruck by this as well and made the sign of the cross and thanked God upon entering.
