Local School Librarian To Appear On Wheel Of Fortune Tonight
If you're a 'wheel watcher' you'll have a rooting interest tonight as another local resident will be appearing on the popular game show 'Wheel of Fortune'.
When the Wheel of Fortune 'Wheelmobile' came through Saratoga Springs looking to recruit local talent to test their puzzle solving skills, thousands lined up to audition. While many were disappointed they weren't picked, a few made the cut and have already appeared on the show. Another will test her wit vs. the wheel tonight at 7pm on one of America's most beloved game shows.
According to the Daily Gazette, Burnt Hills native and current Amsterdam resident, Ali Veldhuis will be on the long-running TV game show tonight at 7 p.m. on WTEN-Channel 10.
According to the newspaper story, Veldhuis - a librarian/technology media specialist at Howe and King elementary in Schenectady - has been keeping her appearance a secret for a while.
The cat's out of the bag now and the Capital Region will be watching, rooting and playing along with Ali.
