There will be a new sports complex built in Halfmoon. It is being proposed by many supporters including a local basketball prodigy that plays in the NBA.  It's always great to see that when people from the Capital Region are successful, they give back. This time it's local basketball star, Kevin Huerter. He and other supporters are planning an eight million dollar sports complex to be built in Halfmoon according to News 10 ABC.

The sports facility would be located near the intersection of Route 146 and Werner Road in a currently vacant lot in the town of Halfmoon. The sports complex would be nearly seventy-three thousand square feet. If the proposal is approved, it would contain six basketball courts, locker rooms, a snack bar, a training room, daycare facility, and small exercise studios.

Kevin Huerter, who plays for the Atlanta Hawks, tweeted earlier this week saying that the area really needs the complex.
