Local Elks Club Doing ‘Drive-In Bingo’ This Sunday
Who doesn't love bingo? Okay, so maybe you haven't played bingo in a while, but that doesn't mean you don't love it. An area Elks lodge has found a way to keep the daubers and lucky markers alive by doing "Drive-In" bingo and the response has been overwhelmingly good. Their next event, guaranteed to be a honking good time, is happening on Sunday.
According to a story reported on by the Daily Gazette, the Clifton Park Elks Lodge is a regular spot for Saratoga County bingo enthusiasts every week. As a result of the COVID pandemic, that hasn't been the case for many months.
The Clifton Park Elks Lodge in Ballston Lake held their first "Drive-In Bingo" event in mid-August and according to the story, they had quite a respectable turnout with over 130 players. The game is played just like regular bingo, with numbers called out and heard through an FM radio frequency found in your car.
The next event is happening this Sunday and they're expecting an even larger turnout, and space is limited.
According to their Facebook page, the Clifton Park Elks were asking people to make their reservations weeks ago, but at the time of this publication, it is believed that spots are still available.
Game time is from 2 PM to 430 PM this Sunday, and to get more information and to reserve your space and number of game cards, click here.
