One year ago this week, my family got together for a surprisingly different night out; we went to a Bingo Hall in Albany.  I'm pretty sure my sister suggested it as a bit of joke, but it was one of those things that we all unanimously agreed would be a fun thing to do...

Who doesn't love bingo? Okay, so maybe you haven't played bingo in a while, but that doesn't mean you don't love it.  An area Elks lodge has found a way to keep the daubers and lucky markers alive by doing "Drive-In" bingo and the response has been overwhelmingly good.  Their next event, guaranteed to be a honking good time, is happening on Sunday.

In a law that passed last year, minors were no longer allowed to gamble with parents and grandparents. Now there is a bill that would allow kids to participate once again with the adults.

A woman from Watervliet was arrested for allegedly damaging another woman’s car on bingo night in the parking lot of The Melvin Roads American Legion Post in East Greenbush.

The local news can be quite repetitive around the holidays. It seem that there is an annual “thieves steal Christmas”, “anonymous donor”, “no manger at city hall”,”snowflakes: everybody panic”, etc story that we hear about every single year. This year make a game out of it!
