Liquidation Sale! After 40 Yrs Warren County Bakery Becoming Urgent Care
A bakery that had been a staple on Route 9 in Warren County has officially closed and is selling its contents to make way for a WellNow Urgent Care. After forty years, Gambles Bakery is no longer. But you can buy a piece of the bakery.
For forty years Gambles Bakery was a fixture on Route 9 in Queensbury. In January, a plan was filed for the site to the town's planning board and the zoning boards. The bakery remained open, however. But now fixtures and equipment from Gambles are listed on a Glens Falls garage sale post on Facebook according to the Post Star.

The Burke Cos is a father-and-son development company by Tom Burke Jr. and Tom Burke III. They own twenty-one Dunkin' stores and twelve that they lease out. Opening a Dunkin at the Gamble Bakery site was considered but there were two Dunkin locations close by. That's when they decided a WellNow Urgent Care clinic would be a better option.
