This new Washington Tavern was opened in 1943 by the Cipollo Family. It's an Iconic Irish-style tavern that offers draft beer and pub food. It's located in the student section of Albany and is frequented by college students as well as locals.
The original Washington Tavern was built in 1870 on the corner of New Scotland and Madison Avenue across from the new Washington Park.
