There may be a twenty five thousand square foot indoor entertainment complex coming to Latham. It just has to get final approval. An indoor entertainment facility is being proposed for construction near Albany International Airport. The same owners of The Fun Spot on Route 9 in Queensbury are proposing to build an entertainment complex in Latham.

According to the Daily Gazette, the building would merge four lots or seven plus acres on the corner of Sicker and Albany-Shaker roads to create a twenty five thousand foot facility. Ten thousand square feet will house laser tag, mini bowling and other activities. The other square footage will be used for party rooms, kitchens, cafe seating and lounges.

The proposal was put before the Colonie Town Planning Board. Ferraro Entertainment is the company that presented the proposal. They are the parent company of The Fun Spot in Queensbury. The company said that if the business does well, they might want to construct a second twenty thousand square foot facility.
