Since 1962,The Lake George Winter Carnival was an annual tradition that many in the North Country looked forward to for all things ski, snow, food, drink and fun.  This year's pandemic  may have put that event on ice, but businesses in the North Country rallied and created their own version of the carnival.  It's a socially distanced event that focuses on individual outdoor events at great savings that they are calling "WinterFest."
