What an amazing year for Kyle Busch. When Kyle suffered a serious injury the night before the Daytona 500, the very first race of the year it seemed any hope of even making the chase were all but gone. After a surgery and a long recovery, and missing the first 11 races of the season it would take a miracle for Kyle to not only win to get in but also be in the top 30 in driver points by the time the chase arrived On August 9th a runner up finish at Watkins Glen put him at 30th in points. Against all odds NASCAR's bad boy would make it into the chase for the championship.

The best part of Kyle somehow making it into the championship is that that was not even his biggest concern this year because in May his wife Samantha would give birth to their very first child a baby boy named Brexton.

So tonight the new father entered the Championship race in Miami one of 4 drivers who could ultimately hold that trophy in the air. He has the ultimate competition in Martin Truex Jr, Kevin Harvick and the retiring crowd favorite tonight Jeff Gordon.

He would make it look easy. He not only beat out the four drivers in the race for the Championship, he also won the race, on the way to his first Championship.

Congratulations to your new 2015 NASCAR Champion Kyle Busch.
