Kids Can Have a Play Date With Elmo and Friends This Week
There is something special planned for your kids this week. Sesame Street has arranged a play date for Elmo and your child. Here are the details. If you were running out of ideas for your kids to do while cooped up at home, Sesame Street has found a way to bring Elmo to your child for a play date.
According to Simplemost.com, many TV stations and streaming platforms will air "Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate" starting on Tuesday, April 14th at 7 pm. The virtual show will be broadcast on HBO, HBO Latino, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, truTV, and PBS Kids 24/7. PBS will also air the special throughout the month.
It will be a half-hour special with other favorite muppets like Grover, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and more doing fun things online together with their families. There will also be special appearances from Anne Hathaway, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Tracee Ellis Ross.
There will be a part of the special that will help kids learn about all heroes including doctors, nurses, and EMTs that are working hard on the frontlines during the pandemic. All of Elmo's friends will sing, play games, and dance within a video conference so that children can learn from them at home.
