I went to a Catholic school so we started every morning with a prayer and then pledge over the loudspeaker. Even though some schools are deciding to not do the pledge anymore, it's good to see that even children understand the importance and what it means.

I was watching ABC News and they covered this story of a little boy going to his friend's house. From the original YouTube video, 7 year old Wyatt Warner from Utah rode his bike to his friend's house to ask if he could play. When he got to the porch, he saw that his friend's family had a flag up. He stopped what he was doing and before ringing the doorbell, said the Pledge of Allegiance. Luckily the entire thing was captured on the household's porch cam.

According to FOX News, Wyatt's Mother, Jami said about her son that aside from school she didn't know he did it anywhere else.

“I wished I could show it to every parent who feels like what they teach their kids goes in one ear and out the other,” said Jami. “We try to teach our three kids about how lucky they are to live in this country and about the men and women who have served and died for our freedom."

It's so great to see that as each generation passes, one thing stays the same. The amazing pride and honor we have for this country and those who fight to protect it.
