Joyce Mitchell the key accomplice in the Dannemora Prison escape from 2015 that freed David Sweat and Richard Matt, won't be needing any help from inmates when she leaves prison on Thursday.  It's being reported that the prison worker who snuck tools into Clinton Correctional facility aiding in their escape, is set for early release which is believed to be on Thursday.

Mitchell, according to the Democrat and Chronicle, began her sentence back in September of 2015 after she was convicted of providing Sweat and Matt with hacksaws and other tools that helped them break their way out of Clinton Correctional Facility back in 2015.

The two men took law enforcement on a three-week journey following the prison break as they evaded the law deep in the Adirondacks.  Matt was eventually shot and killed by police, while Sweat was captured alive and is currently serving prison time.

Mitchell, according to sources, was scheduled for early release on February 8th which would have been this Saturday, but conditions allow for her to be released on Thursday.

Mitchell, 55, was sentenced back in September of 2015 and served nearly 4 1/2 years of her 7 year max.
