New York Solar Eclipse Glasses Can Be Found In These Locations

"Glasses, get your solar eclipse glasses here"! Sounds like a gimmick to get you to buy a souvenir for the total solar eclipse that will be passing over New York State on Monday April 8th. This is not a gimmick, this is for your safety and they are free.

New York State is offering a limited number of free I LOVE NY Eclipse Glasses. Get yours for this once-in-a-generation event before they are gone! Here's where to find them.

On Monday April 8, 2024, according to NASA, there will be a total solar eclipse. This eclipse will pass over Mexico, the United States and Canada. In our neck of the woods the eclipse will pass over Buffalo, for example, starting at 2:04pm and exiting by 4:32pm.

Do NOT watch the solar eclipse with your naked eyes. NASA recommends that you look through safe solar viewing glasses or a safe handheld solar viewer. Not even your sunglasses will not protect your eyes from this eclipse.

A limited number of I LOVE NY eclipse glasses are available now at locations throughout the state, including but not limited to the following;

New York State Welcome Centers along the New York State Thruway
Select service areas along the New York State Thruway
Official town visitors bureaus
National Comedy Center, Jamestown, NY
