Super Bowl Champion Coach Jumps On 104.5 The Team Tuesday
Most players, coaches and fans have dreamed of winning a Super Bowl. Only a few ever get to live that dream. Fewer win it more than once. (Tom Brady is a freak of nature, so we really can't include him.) Former New York Giants' head coach Tom Coughlin is one of those few.
Coach Coughlin will join 'The Drive with Charlie & Dan' Tuesday afternoon at 5:15pm. Coughlin led the Giants to two Super Bowl victories, XLII & XLVI both against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The 22-year NFL head coach led Big Blue from 2004 to 2015. For most of those years, the Giants held their training camp at the University at Albany.
'The Drive' will talk to Coughlin about his 3rd book 'A Giant Win:Inside the New York Giants' Historic Upset over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. That year, the Patriots were 18-0, going into the Super Bowl only to lose to Coughlin and Eli Manning. They'll talk about what it takes to win and the challenges of being the head coach of a first-year expansion franchise in NFL.
Tom Coughlin is an old school football coach that was at the pinnacle of his occupation for over two decades. It seems like only a matter of time before he is honored in Canton, Ohio in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Tune into 104.5 FM on Tuesday about 5:15 PM to catch Coach Coughlin on 'The Drive with Charlie & Dan."
