Is Your County The Healthiest In New York State?

An annual report has been released ranking all of the counties in New York state listing the most healthiest. Capital Region counties fared pretty well. Find out how healthy your county is. There is a formula that The County Health Rankings & Roadmaps report uses to determine which counties out of all sixty-two are the healthiest in New York state. They highlight where we live, how well we live and how long people in each county live.

I wasn't surprised that the county I grew up in, Saratoga County, was ranked in the top five. It actually came in at number four. Both of my grandmothers lived into their hundreds. My Nana Cavotta passed at 101 and my Nana Canonica just passed away last year at 103. They were both life long residents of Mechanicville in Saratoga County.
