The holiday blockbuster time is over but thankfully we're starting the first movie weekend in 2018 with some great ones and Lights Camera Jackson will tell us which are worth seeing and which you can skip.

First, is a movie that was in very limited release for a month but is now available nationwide: "I, Tonya." You may remember the controversy surrounding the 1994 attack on Nancy Kerrigan involving Tonya Harding. After earning the opportunity to participate in the 1994 Olympics, Harding's (played by Margot Robbie) husband's friend arranges an attack that bruises Kerrigan's leg.

The second movie is "Molly's Game," starring Jessica Chastain as world famous Olympic skier who became more famous for running a poker game involving Hollywood royalty, Russian mobsters, sports stars, and more until she was arrested by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons.

Jackson also takes his yearly trip to Los Angeles to watch the Critic's Choice Awards next week. He had the opportunity to vote so we got to talk about that as well. For all of Jackson's reviews, go to Lights-Camera-Jackson.com
