With the Saratoga racing season only a few months away, it looks like you may be paying a bit more to get into the track. According to the Daily Gazette, The New York Racing Association says that admission to the Saratoga Race Course for a single-day will be five dollars now for the grandstand and eight dollars for the clubhouse if you buy them in advance. If you wait until the day of, now it will cost seven dollars for grandstand admission and ten dollars to get into the clubhouse.

The season pass for 2018, however, remains the same as 2017 at forty dollars for grandstand and sixty five dollars for the clubhouse.

The New York Racing Association did not give a reason for the price increase but they did say that they have been doing significant renovations to all areas of the Saratoga Race Course over the last few years. They invested more than thirty million dollars for upgrades and historic preservation.
