Cancer has effect so many people and families, but I don’t have to tell you that. There is an event coming up where almost anyone can help to raise funds for the American Cancer Society, to help battle this terrible disease. It’s called “Relay For Life”. This event takes place all over the country, and there’s one right in the Albany area. “Relay For Life” will be starting at 6:00 pm., Saturday, March 7 through 7:00 a.m., Sunday, March 8 at the New Scotland Avenue Armory, at 130 New Scotland Avenue in Albany. The phone number that you can use to sign up and get more information is 1-800-227-2345 (1-800-ACS-2345). You can also visit the "Relay For Life" website, to donate locally. The registration fee is $20 dollars.
