Halfmoon BBQ Joint Closing Soon-Rollin’ Out Opening Date For New Location
One of the best barbeque joints in the Capital Region is getting a bigger and better space this month. Rollin' Smoke Handcrafted BBQ will finally be moving into the old Halfmoon Sandwich Shoppe and we now know an exact opening date.
After three years at 222 Guideboard Road in Halfmoon, Rollin' Smoke Handcrafted Barbecue will be shutting its doors. The last day will be this Saturday, January 14th.
When Will The New Location Be Open?
Rollin' Smoke Handcrafted Barbecue will move down to 1613 Route 9 in Halfmoon to the old Halfmoon Sandwich Shoppe. They plan on opening their new location on Tuesday, January 24th at 11 am.
Owners Are Excited About the Opportunity
Owners Rob and Amy Carmel say they like to keep everything family-oriented. They love to support local and buy local too according to the Daily Gazette. They intend on serving local craft beer at the new location from local breweries.
The new Location is Much Bigger
The new location will be three times larger than the current one. It is about thirty-one hundred square feet. There will be fifteen to eighteen tables in the restaurant area. They will also have a bar inside.
What Will The Menu Be Like?
The menu will remain the same with a few new items added. They will add a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, roast prime rib, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, and new stuffed bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin.
