Well that's not something you see every day. Cops are on the lookout for a man suspected of robbing the Guilderland McDonald's. If he's still in costume, something tells me it won't be hard to catch him.

According to the Times Union, employees at the Guilderland McDonald's around 1:00AM saw a man dressed as a gorilla kneeling in front of their safe open with a large bag. The Guilderland McDonald's, if you're unfamiliar is a rest stop on the Thruway so they have people coming in to order food into the night.

The best part about this whole thing is that first, he personally owned a gorilla costume (Why?) and second, it's not Halloween so he had to put that on, drive, and walk into the rest stop dressed as a gorilla. Where did he come from?

One of the employees attempted to confront the suspect but he quickly escaped through a back door. No one was hurt and police have reported that they didn't believe the suspect to have a weapon. State Police aren't confirming the robbery but are saying that they're investigating something.

Especially since this McDonald's is at a rest stop, I'm sure there are camera all over the place there. All it takes is one shot of the suspect's car and he's caught. Hopefully though, he took off the gorilla mask before driving, that may have made him a little easier to be spotted.
