When you think of summer fun you probably think of the beautiful lakes that we have all over the Capital Region. Well, one local and popular ski mountain wants you to come and play there this summer. With so much to do, there is a ton of summer fun in store.

Warren County Ski Mountain Offering Summer Fun

It's well-known for being a premier ski and snowboard mountain during the winter months but now it's turning into a year-round destination. West Mountain, in Queensbury, opens for the summer season on Saturday, June 4th.

What Kinds of Activities Does West Mountain Offer During the Summer?

This summer you can mountain bike throughout the West Mountain trails that travel through the vast woods.

There is also an awesome high ropes course that starts halfway up the mountain.

But that's not all. They are offering mountaintop yoga, hikes, picnic packages, and scenic chairlift rides. The activities are all accessible by the chairlift that will take you to the top of the mountain.

West Mountain Has Kids Outdoor Summer Camp

They are expanding their summer camps this year. Kids do a variety of outdoor activities and they offer a new five-day summer camp along with a three-day camp. The kids hike, do climbing activities, and play fun outdoor games, and explore the outdoors.

New Concert Series Too!

New this summer, West Mountain will host a music festival in July. It's called "The Music on the Mountain Summer Concert Series" and runs from July 2nd through August 20th according to News 10 ABC.
