Full Service Gas In The Albany Area

I was shocked when I pulled in to the new Shop Rite on Central Avenue in Colonie. As I pulled up to the gas pumps, located at the entrance, a service attendant came over and offered to pump my gas and wash my windows! 

If you're a new younger driver and have never been to New Jersey, where attendants assist with fueling, you might be stunned to know that this service was quite common in this area many years ago. Now, the luxury of full service gas is back in the Albany area thanks to Shop Rite!

The next cold, rainy, windy, snowy day I need gas, I know where I'm going! (Just remember to tip during extreme weather).
