From Country to Comedy, Clifton Park Announces Summer Concert Series
Last summer was one to forget as just about anything and everything we were looking forward to was canceled or postponed due to the pandemic. While it may be awhile before we're ever back to life as we knew it, announcements like the one we received today represent a sure sign of good things to come.
On Wednesday, the Town of Clifton Park announced the lineup for their upcoming Performing Arts on the Common Summer Series. From seasoned pros like Moriah Formica and the Moonshine Junkies to talent shows and open mic nights for the kiddos, there's bound to be something for everyone. Here's a look at what to expect this summer.
News 10 ABC had the story on the return of the Clifton Park Summer Concert Series on Wednesday and according to the report, it's slated to begin on Sunday night June 20th.
The free series will take place throughout the summer with a different event each and every Sunday night. Beginning in July, there we be a series of children's events on Wednesdays throughout the summer. All of the performances will take place on the Clifton Common Stage, 7PM, rain or shine unless otherwise noted.
A few of the Sunday shows worth noting include: The Moonshine Junkies, a country cover-band from Schoharie on July 11th and Shaker grad and former Voice contestant, Moriah Formica on August 1st.
Highlighting the Wednesday night children's series is the Kids Open Mic Talent Show on August 4th.
