About one year ago, almost to the day, a truck with a hydraulic lift plowed into the Sitterly Road overpass in Clifton Park. The road has been closed on and off for a year but now to actually replace the bridge and road, Sitterly Road will be closed all week.

When Will the Road Be Shut Down to Traffic?

The New York State Department of Transportation is closing the Sitterly Road bridge over the Northway near Exit 9 in Clifton Park. It will close from today (Monday, April 18th) through Friday, April 22nd. This is to allow the NYDOT to replace the overpass bridge. This week was chosen because most schools are off for spring break.
