Not only do you have to watch out for the icky weather during the winter, but Superbowl weekend, there will also be DWI check points.  So if you'll be partying it up for the big game, Sunday, be sure to limit it to pizza, wings and soda or have a designated driver.

Albany County's DWI sweep during Super Bowl weekend was announced yesterday.  The State Police, the Sheriff's Office and eleven municipal police agencies will take part in looking for drunk drivers this weekend, beginning tonight.

The sweep begins at 7pm and continues until 5 Monday morning.  Twenty-five arrests were made last year for drunk driving, with 24 arrested in 2009  for DWI.  As much as we all like to have a good time watching the big game, make sure you're responsible this weekend even if you don't live or travel in Albany County.
