My love of science fiction is no secret, but now I have passed it down to my daughter. Every Christmas our friends on BBC America air a special episode of "Doctor Who" and we never miss it!

In all honesty Ella has asked me just as many times when is "Doctor Who: The Snowman" will be on as questions about Santa. Do yourself a favor and watch this light hearted scifi romp on Christmas night 9 pm est on BBC America. It's really fun. I will warn you some of the aliens the Doctor faces are a little too scary for younger children. I tell Ella if the monsters are real then so is the Doctor so we have nothing to fear and she seems to like that line of thinking.
